There's plenty of alive & audacious insights on sex, queerness & its ambiguities, pop culture, and social perceptions -- that even prudes & squares (like myself) can appreciate. Sure, the first half of the album is a bit heavy with pop-genre vapidity & kitsch, yet still, a solid LP overall.
