it was in part the soul-infused sound of miss gentry's largely self-penned first two records that provided a gateway for me to finally start getting into country music a couple years ago (that & imo theyre both just rly solid records, as well as her apparent swansong, patchwork), & ofc i was p giddy when i first saw the guest vocalists attached to this thing lol, and you kno what ? overall this thing definitely delivers, & for me will more than likely go down as one of the best surprises of this year ♯mercuryrev ♯laetitiasadier ♯lætitiasadier ♯new ♯10s ♯2010s #2019 ♯pop ♯chamberpop ♯altcountry ♯dreampop
