♯new ♯2020checklist ♯artrock ♯glam ♯rock ♯newwave ♯powerpop ♯rock ♯synthpop 'A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip' active since 1967, ♯sparks continue to refine their artful ♯glamrock sound, ever since the early 2000s and their 2015 'FFS' collab with Franz Ferdinand, their trajectory has drifted into the boisterously weird MGMT or a joyful Of Montreal-esque direction. (Or is it the reverse, those bands were inspired by Sparks?) Either way, it's a fun, poppy LP (with subtle angles of society criticism carefully baked under the gloss).
