finally finished my trek thru the cocteaus discog recently & this is prob my fav record of theirs tbh, serves as a great middle ground between their comparatively darker/colder sounding earlier releases & how their sound would develop from holv onwards (i do rly like holv but not as much as i was hoping to ngl, maybe i need better headphones to experience it "properly" or something lol idk), also this track is easily one of my faves of theirs now & a good example of that "middle ground" of their sound i was just talking abt ♯cocteautwins ♯80s ♯1980s #1988 ♯dreampop ♯etherealwave ♯ethereal ♯postpunk ♯shoegaze
