Unlike 'Have We Met' (2020) and 'Poison Season' which both have a demented & weary lounge singer appeal, this LP is more akin to the modern classic 'Kaputt' (2011), a removed yet confident array of storytelling (seemingly in character at times). In short, it's fantastic (well except for the title track, which is more of a transition or mood piece).
